"We often miss opportunity because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work." -Thomas A. Edison

McInroe Construction Fence Building Metal Buildings and everything in between Work was His Passion |
Michael (Mike) McInroe
1959-2013 APPRENTICE a person who works for another in order to learn a trade: an apprentice to a fence builder. History/Historical - a person legally bound through indenture to a master craftsman in order to learn a trade. Est. Mike's Construction One of his favorite all-time projects was crafting his Cowboy Cookers. He loved building them as much as he loved watching people enjoy them. Michael learned that working hard payed the bills - but most importantly he learned the value of friendship, family and play. Cooking became one of his favorite pastimes. Michael never met a stranger! |
Preston Montalvo
Est. PLC 2008-present ENTERPERNEAURS
people who organize and manage any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk. Today, Preston has learned many trades and has developed and grown PLC with a vision to remember the past and weave it into today. He is a forward thinker. He understands the value of community, hard work, thinking out of the box, the art of kindness and helping people navigate through the process of construction and the insurance business. |
PLC represents three generations of our family
serving Palo Pinto County and surrounding areas!
Storytelling is a favorite pastime in passing stories on to the next generation.
Many moons ago I was in sales and did a great deal of traveling.
In that season of my life we were blessed with the birth of our first child, Preston.
It was obvious to us by the time Preston was in elementary school that he had a keen sense of making a dollar.
We laughed about it and would make comments about him being in the womb and instead of listening
to me read nursery rhymes he was listening to me recruit people and sell a product that carried a lifetime warranty.
From collecting cans for cash to car wash detailing using q-tips to garage sales
to the Crazy Water Festival running lemonade stands.
The lawn mowing days, found him pushing the mower as far as his legs could walk.
He started the great game of golf by the time he was in sixth grade and began to grasp the importance of networking.
During his jr-high years Preston began to apprentice under a man that owned a tree-trimming business
and my brother who owned his own construction company.
And yes, my brother had apprenticed under my dad. Occasionally Michael would "loan" Preston to my Dad as a helper.
Skipping a few pages of the story, finds Preston today running a full service business that goes way beyond lawncare.
He is passionate about landscape and enjoys taking the barren ground and
transforming it into an enjoyable space for family and friends to gather.
Outdoor living spaces is just one of his many specialties.
We nick-named him the gadget man when he was young.
Technology and electronics and discovering fun ways to manage the many tasks of
running a home are another area PLC is expanding.
Roofing and gutters remain a strong component of who PLC
is today! We have been able to resolve many roofs that were incorrectly
installed in our area over the past decade. Water can be destructive to the
interior of your home. PLC began offering the service of dry-out and
remediation. The infra red tools we use help us determine where
you may have a leak. The roof of a structure should be handled
by a professional team that will see you all the way through
the process.
You may be wondering by now who am I.
Frank was my daddy and Michael was my brother.
Almost ten years ago Preston asked me to work with him.
I knew entrepreneurship ran deep in my veins and I accepted the position.
Today I do a lot of the design work for PLC and I am a color specialist.
I offer custom window coverings. Our small showroom
has much to offer when your project is a priority!
We love helping you design a fit that will work best
for you and your family.
We at PLC understand and appreciate
quality in all the components that make up your inside and outside world.
It has been a journey of growth, vision, flexibility, and many prayers.
Thank you to our loyal customers for trusting
us with your ideas and dreams to create living spaces for you.
We look forward to continuing the journey.
Our expertise turns your ideas into reality.
